Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies VIND uses on fluzzio.com (the "Site"). Spoiler: not many. We deliberately avoid third-party analytics and advertising trackers.

1. Cookies we do not use

• No Google Analytics, Segment, PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar third-party analytics.
• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No chat-widget cookies (Intercom, Drift, Crisp, etc.).
• No session-replay or heatmap cookies (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.).
• No social-media share-button cookies.

2. What we do use

First-party session storage

We use a single first-party vind.marketing.sid value stored in your browser’s sessionStorage. This is technically not a cookie — it does not persist beyond the current browser tab and is not transmitted with every HTTP request the way a cookie is. We use it only to deduplicate our own anonymous analytics beacons (a page view counted once, not three times if the page is reloaded).

Cookies set by our own backend, when applicable

If you sign into the VIND backoffice on a separate domain (app.fluzzio.com, transitioning to app.vind.com), that application sets a small number of strictly-necessary authentication cookies. None of those cookies are set by this marketing Site.

3. Why we do this

We made a deliberate v1 decision (see our PLAN.md and the engineering notes in our public repository) to forgo third-party scripts. The trade- off — we have less granular product-marketing data — is a cost we accept in exchange for shipping a Site that respects your browser, loads fast, and is straightforward to audit. Our analytics are a single first-party endpoint and we make the data we collect explicit.

4. Your choices

Because we do not set advertising or analytics cookies, there is no cookie banner to accept or reject. If you wish to clear the sessionStorage value mentioned above, close your browser tab or use your browser’s site-data tools — both will remove it immediately.

5. Changes

If we ever introduce a cookie or a third-party script on the Site, this document will be updated and a banner will be displayed for as long as consent is required. Until then, the policy above holds.
